A public (state) university founded in Aydın, Turkey in 1992. It comprises 21 faculties, 3 graduate institutes, a state conservatory, 19 vocational schools, and approximately 36 research centers. In the 2023–24 academic year, enrollment reached 48,414 students (26,100 undergrads, 2,930 masters, 667 PhD); about 1,829 academic staff were employed.
