City St George’s, University of London is a public research university located in London, UK. It was formed on 1 August 2024 by the full merger of City, University of London and St George’s, University of London — bringing together strengths in health and medicine with expertise in engineering, science, law, business, media, and urban development. St George’s traces its origins to the medical school of St George’s Hospital, founded in 1834. City traces some of its heritage to the Northampton Institute founded in 1894, and was granted full university status in 1966. With the merger, the university integrates health sciences and medical education with city-focused disciplines to deliver a distinctive interdisciplinary offering.The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate (taught and research) programs in fields including medicine, nursing, public health, biomedical sciences, health management, engineering, science & technology, law, business, communication, and more. Many programs accept applications on a rolling basis until capacity is filled. As a constituent institution of the University of London, it is part of the federation of universities in London. It is recognized in the UK as a degree-awarding institution. The university spans three campuses in London: Northampton Square / Clerkenwell (central campus) Moorgate (for business-related disciplines) Tooting (health & medical campus, absorbing the prior St George’s facilities)
