Sheffield Hallam University

Sheffield Hallam University is a UK public university with origins tracing back to 1843 when the Sheffield School of Design was founded to support Britain’s industrial growth. Achieving university status in 1992, it has grown into one of the UK’s largest and most diverse higher-education institutions, with around 32,000 students and approximately 4,200 staff members. The University offers more than 700 academic programmes and focuses strongly on applied education, real-world research impact and collaborative innovation with industry and society. Located in Sheffield (South Yorkshire, England), the University operates both a central City Campus near the train station and a secondary campus at Collegiate Crescent in the southwest of the city.
