Middlesex University is a public university based in Hendon, North-West London, UK. Its origins date back to 1878 when St Katharine’s College was founded to train women teachers. Over time the institution evolved, became Middlesex Polytechnic in 1973, and was granted full university status in 1992. With campuses and international partnerships across Dubai, Mauritius and beyond, Middlesex University offers multi-disciplinary higher education focused on professional practice, research-informed teaching and global engagement. Aligned with its Strategy to 2031, the University’s vision is: “A fairer, more sustainable, productive and prosperous society, achieved through education and creating and sharing knowledge.” The University serves a diverse student body from over 140 nationalities, emphasising student support, employability, and lifelong learning.
