The University of Westminster (UK) is a public university located in London. Its roots date back to 1838 as the Royal Polytechnic Institution — London’s first polytechnic — and it attained university status in 1992. The University offers a wide range of academic programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, including disciplines such as media and communications, law, business, architecture and the built environment, computer science and engineering, arts and design, social sciences and humanities.
