city of Canterbury, Kent. Its origins date back to 1962 when it was founded as a teacher-training college in response to a national shortage of teachers. Since gaining full university status in 2005, CCCU has expanded its academic portfolio to offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across fields such as education, health and medicine, social and applied sciences, creative arts, engineering and technology.
