The Scientific College of Design is the first and only higher education institution specialized in art and design in the Sultanate of Oman, and one of the first institutions accredited by the Omani Authority for Academic Accreditation OAAA. Bachelor's degree is Print Graphic Design, Digital Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Animation, Photography, Architecture Program, Digital Design Program for Students with Hearing Impairment, In addition to master's degrees in fine arts, interior design, and visual communication, the college adopts the English language in teaching and scientific research, except for the fashion design program, which adopts the Arabic language. Within the current strategic plan, the college is seeking approval from the Ministry of Higher Education to transform the college into the first university specialized in art and design in the Sultanate of Oman.
